We play conversational games to facilitate deep and meaningful connections between two or more people. The skills we learn in these practices impact our relationships and help us to communicate more clearly and confidently.

The circle will open with a brief meditation and Cacao Ceremony. We will use sentence stems to cultivate connection before breaking into pairs and having space to be curious about each other, to see and be seen, to hear and be heard. You will leave with deep insights into your life and your emotional state. You might say something out loud that you've never said before.

You will not forget the conversations you are a part of this day.

We The Starborne's brand new Liminal Lounge is near the Midway neighborhood in St. Paul and there is ample free street parking. There will be mats and cushions, and I have custom-thrown pottery mugs for Cacao. Bring a notebook, as you may want to write down some of the insightful things you hear yourself say.

"One time I felt really cared about was..."

Curiosity Game - we break into pairs and one person at a time is curious about the other

Empathy - It is one person's job to hear the other person and imagine what their world might be like

Noticing/Impact - "being here, I notice..." "hearing that, I feel..."
